I'm writing the blog early today as
1. I don't want Roger to see the photo I'm using as he only did it for a joke.
2. I have my World Cup pre match drinking to do.
In reality the only other photos I have from today are of the very unusual grain stores they have in Galicia which I think are called horreos. And you can imagine how interesting they are to look at. But for those who may be curious Roger is sketching one now. Lovely 15 mile walk today and the first few hours were in cloud, but it got warm again and we struggled with the last few miles. We crossed five rivers which meant more ups and downs than we were expecting. The local forecast is definitely saying rain tomorrow and I never thought I would say that I'm looking forward to a downpour. The Camino itself gets very dusty and everything needs refreshing. Although the countryside still looks very English, the trees are very different. - lots of eucalyptus and chestnut but still some almond and fruiting cherries too. Maize seems to be the big crop but can't tell if it's for eating or cattle food. We are in a very small village tonight staying in an albergue that has a few rooms for two. The owner is very hospitable and when we arrived I asked in my best Spanish if we could watch Copa de Mondo on the tv. In the bar tonight. Oh yes, she beamed, I am from Uruguay. So one of us will be happy tonight. Hope it's me.
