Congratulations and huge respect to you both for reaching your destination - again! What's next year's plan? Canoe to Santiago from the West Indies?

Back in Stratford today we're commemorating Shakespeare, 400 years after his death. So I thought I should send you a quotation that might ring true:
"Within this hour it will be dinner-time;
Till that, I'll view the manners of the town,
Peruse the traders, gaze upon the buildings,
And then return and sleep within mine inn;
For with long travel I am stiff and weary"
And to you both:
"My affection hath an unknown bottom, like the Bay of Portugal".
Mary
The weather MUST improve soon. Stay cheerful, lots of love M and M xx

You would be sooooo proud of me. Saturday went for a 6 mile walk round Bristol, stopping for a coffee and the next thing I knew I was in a shop and came out with 2 tops. You'll be pleased to know I paid for them but thought the extra weight of carrying them home would help my training. Then went for another 5 - 6 mile walk the next day over the Mendips. However today I am a wreck - but no blisters.

This it from another Clive in your life ! Already enjoying your blogs. Linda and I having a few days in Majorca and so are waving to you from across the water. Keep going ! Xx
Jane
Am worn out already just reading your latest blog. However am determined to go for a walk (stroll) today. Does going up and down steps at a Rugby match for drinks constitute exercise not to mention the arm movements!!!
Jane
Saw you were mentioning uniforms again. Nothing changes hey. Really looking forward to seeing you in Porto - about the training............

Best of luck Isobel and Roger. Do you both get to sleep with firemen? I'm confused. Hope you have a lovely and memorable walk.
