Yes I know this is a day late but last night we stayed in Village of the Damned and there was no wifi. It was the most horrible place we have stayed and the only times I have felt ripped off and was very cross. Roger keeps singing Artic Monkeys Mardy Bum because he says I have a face like the barrel of a gun about to go off - can't think what he means. I'm nearly always sweetness and light. The day's walking had been fine although we are now in the area known as the Meseta which is a huge plain for growing wheat that will take us three days to walk through. We haven't found it as boring as expected because it is still rolling countryside and the bird life and birdsong is astounding. Sky larks all day long and birds so tame they sit in the trees just a few feet from us as we pass and sing there hearts out. We aren't doing too many miles at the the moment until Roger's shin/pulled muscle is a bit better. So it had been a nice day until we got to village of the damned. Roger's says I should forget it but I would love to see the face of the owner when he reads my " customer feedback" in the visitors book. The fact there had been no hot water and no breakfast just managed to tip me over. Ha ha and I signed it.
