As this is a day off Roger is going to write some of the blog today. Raining in Burgos this morning so we went to the cathedral which takes about two hours to tour around. It's been restored completely and perhaps lost some of its historical feel as a result. Then to a modern art gallery and then tapas lunch. Both of us feeling restored and bought some lovely nail polish for my toes. I've kept them plain thinking I might need to see what's going on with my feet...

So this is blog entry 14 due to some administrative errors and wanting to avoid unlucky day 13. It's me in front of one of the many entrances to the amazing cathedral in Burgos. It was a long hard walk today with about half in countryside and small villages and then a tough 13 kms through the outskirts of the city.
