The photo today may look at little obscure, but it is the right way up. And it's one of the important inspirations for me from the Camino. Yes, I want an allotment. It's been so impressed to see how many Spanish families grow their own vegetables and fruit. So I plan to come home and put myself on the long waiting list to get an allotment in Stratford. But I won't be able to keep chickens and the random roosters that crow as we go past at 4 in the afternoon. It was a struggle to get up this morning and it's a strange mix of wanting to get to Santiago and yet not. The promised storms didn't arrive today and I won't bore you about it being another hot day.. So we are having an early night. Some pilgrims here are leaving at 5.30 in the hope of getting to the pilgrim service in the cathedral at noon. We won't be rushing as we hope to go on Sunday. We are both a bit too close to the ending to know how it's going to feel and it certainly doesn't feel something to shout about......more inner thoughts and the realisation that I am going to need a new pair of walking boots. I will take a pic of our Compostellas tomorrow unless Roger chooses to do a striking pose outside the cathedral.
