This will be the last blog as we are at Finisterra or what was thought to be the end of the world back in pilgrim times. The pic is the view out of our bedroom window and our final 19 mile walk wasn't all in the rain. In fact it ended in sunshine and we have a rest day tomorrow. Gallicia in the sun is a wonderful place,, very rural and unspoilt with a simple way of life. it's given me a lot of quiet time and the water is so lovely to drink and bathe in. Bits of me looking a bit ropey - hair and feet in particular, but I do feel strong and fit as a butcher's dog... Well a dog that's drunk a lot of Albarhino and eaten a lot of serano ham flavoured crisps. Roger wondering how he will cope back at work next week. But for me, not a worry. Life has begun a new phase and I count myself very lucky in so many ways. Nothing is quite like pulling on your boots and not knowing where you are going to end up or who you will meet. But part of me will be happy to be back in Chery Street until the next time.
