The last stopping off point in the Rugan area before the sea crossing to Fehmarn. After the 2 most windy and wet days of our summer in Straslsund we thought the wind had dropped so we set of on the 9 NM trip, as soon as we were in the bay we were getting more strong winds up to 32 knots, we sailed with just half a Genoa and were making speeds in the 7 s. I was worried about coming in as Barhölf is only a small place but it is extremely well sheltered by trees so no problems with getting in. The wind is now dropping and the sun is out enabling us to enjoy a barbecue before planing how to cross back the 70/80 NM back to Fehmarn
