Went to the Village market this morning, a pretty normal sort of a country market. Rose was really impressed with the ladies selling Doughnuts for $1.00 each, we checked the equipment they were using and figured we would try and buy that setup when we get home, it would be really good for money raising events.
Went to the non denominational Church service in the Village, a really structured service, very loud.
Then went out to the wetlands, couldn't do the walk we wanted to because of Ellie. It looked very nice and you are able to canoe for a long way through the lakes. We drove around and checked it out.
Visited the Art Centre, Rose really liked the work of the artist being displayed, I wasn't impressed, reckon Rose could do a better job herself with her foot. Then went to the matinee session of a play "No sex please, we're British" put on by the local players. Pretty good. Then had fish, chips and salad for dinner.
Went to the AOG evening service, they had a good crowd.
We then drove out to Peace Park about 12kms out of town to camp for the night. We thought we'd found this really cool desolate spot where we could pull up free of charge as there would be nobody about. Wrong, we drove in and there are vans, cars and tents everywhere and you can even hear the German Backpackers in tents across the padock. Strung a line between a tree and our van and Rose hung some washing. They are really strong on only camping in designated camping areas around Esperance.
