Sunday morning went to mass at 9.00. As we went into the Chapel, Rose and I were asked to take the communion bread and wine to the priest during the service. After much protest that we weren't Catholic and didn't know what we were doing we did it. It was a really good service, great music and interesting to see the ritual performance. We had been for a long walk about the place in the morning.
Bought a loaf of the local white bread for lunch and promptly ate three quarters of it.
After lunch drove to Moora and had a look around. Then on to Cervantes, back to the coast. A nice little place based on Crayfish boats and tourism. On dusk went for a drive out to the Pinnacles Desert, couldn't go in as no dogs allowed so came back to town and parked behind the shops for the night.
We were underway early, had a look at some of the attractions, climbed a look out then a long walk/climb around the coast. We then went to the information centre and found you can leave your dog at a kennel at the DEC.
So after lunch we left her there and went out to the Pinnacles. We weren't all that impressed with these rocks standing up in the yellow sand.
When we got back to Ellie she had escaped from the kennel but was waiting for us outside the DEC shed.
We then booked into the caravan park ($27 no power). Ellie was sick on the way, she did a lot of vomitting over the next hour or so but looks like she has come good.
We went to the Country Club tonight and had a warm seafood platter for two for $55.00, it was great value, we really enjoyed.
