After the fishing this morning we dropped Ellie off at the dog kennels and headed off to the city. Had a good look along the coast, the whole coastline is a pretty amazing part of Australia, beautiful beaches and mostly has some sort of protection from the Indian Ocean swell.
We pulled up in Kings Park overlooking the city and Rose cooked up the fish. We sat on the beautiful lawns and ate the lot, very nice.
Then into the city and booked into the Travelodge for 3 nights, I'd actually booked the accommodation on lastminute.com for $113 per night.
We then walked to the Convention Centre and registered for the weekend. Went to one of the sessions then back to the hotel.
Conference all day Friday and Saturday, ending up with the dinner dance ($120 per head) on Saturday night. An amazing evening, 300 odd drunks carrying on and just having a fantastic time without any alcohol, everyone had a fantastic time.
