After the morning routine myself and Sarah (German girl I met) decided to head over to Russell so I could check it out when I wasn't hungover, we got the passenger ferry from the main pier and after a short journey we pulled up to the harbour in Russell, we took a walk around the town and then decided to walk up to the look out which was a mighty up hill walk, we got to the top and there were some really good views as sites so after a few snaps we walked down around and back to the town, we then tried to find NZ's oldest pub but it didn't pan out in our favour so we just went to the waterfront and got ourselves milkshakes at a really nice little restaurant, it was getting on a little bit and the wind was picking up so we hopped back on the ferry to Paihia and took a walk back to the hostel were we met the other guys we knew, we all hung out and had dinner around the same time, after dinner we had a drink or two and then went to the bar down the road and played a few games of pool, after a couple games of pool and a beer we headed back to the hostel and sat down with a movie again until 11pm when we went to bed and I dozed off pretty quick again!
