Woke up fairly early as the car park we were in was the location for of Nelsons Saturday morning markets, we had a quick bite to eat in bed then parked up Albert in the free parking just out of town then walked back in and checked out the markets, there were some pretty cool local produce and jewellery, clothing etc about and we got ourselves a bite to eat and also a pastry each! When we were done perusing the markets we headed back to the library where I managed to get a few more photos uploaded and looked into a few options for the America trip, the library closed around lunch so we headed back to Albert and had a snack and then after a quick discussion with Andy we managed to get a cheap place to stay for the night and were on route to Blenheim by 2pm! We drove a couple hours and arrived just after 4:30 where we hit up pak n' save for dinner and a few brewskis then were back on the road a little while and turned up at the back packers where I greeted Andy with a warm embrace and got shown round the place and introduced to others at the back packers, we then had a few drinks and started the beer pong competition where I was partnered with a German guy called Ads, he was pretty awesome and a decent beer ponger too! We sailed through the first round and then me and the girls cooked up a quick stir fry dinner which resulted in me almost burning my face off as the stupid hob wouldn't turn off and then proceeded to explode into my face and singe my eye lashes a little bit! Stupid hob! We raced through dinner as we had all won our first games and were into the next round, the girls got knocked out next round but Ads and I won our second game and were into the semis, had a couple more drinks and caught up with Andy before playing our semi final game where the come back kings strikes again and we managed to claw back a miraculous victory which saw us into the finals, we had a crowd amassed by this point so pressure was on, safe to say, didn't start well, went a few cups down rather quick and then clawed a few back, it ended up 4-1 to them so victory looked bleak but they couldn't sink the last cup and we managed to get it to 1-1, sudden death! It went back and forth a few rounds with a lot of rimming involved, everyone was on the edge of their seats, Ads stepped up and rimmed then I took centre stage and managed to get the sweetest swish ever and pull victory out the bag! I went a little mental and celebrated like a mad man but I had such a good night playing beer pong I just didn't care! After beer pong the party started to disperse so I headed inside and mingled with a few people before feeling a bit sleepy and strolling out to Albert where as quiet as a mouse (so I thought) I got into my sleeping back and went straight to sleep within about 4 seconds
