Alarm went off at 6:30am as we had to get the car to the garage by 7am.. Joy! We managed to get to the garage in time and drop the car off, we then went for a little wonder around Akaroa to pass the time and come 9am managed get into the hostels kitchen we were staying in that night to make brekkie! After that we went to the 'adventure' shop and hired some fishing rods and went fishing off the pier for a few hours, after lunch and checking in we went back and rented some kayaks for the afternoon and we went kayaking out into the bay where we also took our rods, we had a lot of bites but no fish :( after a couple hours kayaking we ventured back in and went to check on the status of the car but there wasn't much news on the radiator, so we headed to the shop and bought a stir fry mix and cooked that up for dinner! When we were all sufficiently stuffed we cranked out the uno set and played with a Kiwi and another German till fairly late, we then had a couple beers whilst listening to music and had a chat amongst ourselves, the 3 of us were pretty pooped with the early wake up and half day kayaking so went to bed, well Andreas fell asleep on the couch so we left him there.. He was the lucky one though, the girl in our room was breathing like she was the love child of Bane and Darth Vader so that was one of the worst nights sleep I ever had! Stupid girl...
