Awoke to a pretty miserable day, it was drizzling and overcast so that made it extra hard to get out of bed, managed it eventually then made use of the on sight showers before having brekkie, we then packed up our bags for the day including lunch etc and headed for tourist info, we got a map of the area and after checking it out decided the under ground market would be pretty cool, after walking there we discovered that it was only on a Saturday... Mare. So we went to the museum of NZ, this place was huge! Probably one of the best museums I've been too, had so much to see and do, we checked out all the exhibits and after kicking Sarah's ass at giant connect 4 and checking out the earth quake simulator with Katie we each did a quick drawing in the art Gallery and then watched a few short films about local New Zealanders and where they lived (whilst eating lunch) the girls were still hungry so they got a BK before we popped into STA travel where I spoke to and American girl about my North America trip, she gave me a few pointers and I could then start putting a plan together! It was getting a wee bit late and we were all pretty drained from the past few nights plus the boat so headed back to Albert to chill out a little bit, Katie had a nap, Sarah and I looked through travel brochures before both also having a bit of a kip, it was about 8pm when we were deciding what to do, I felt absolutely drained so said I was gonna get an early night then the girls decided they could be bothered to head out either, the weather was awful plus it was a Monday night... So we all settled down for a super early night to catch up on sleep before driving tomorrow, hard.core.
