Had a lie in today and woke up feeling refreshed!we said farewell to our new friends after breakfast and then we drove back to Lake Tekapo, the water was an amazing blue, looked like it had been photoshopped! Katie and I did the walk to the observatory but I convinced Sarah to drive as her feet were horrendous from the other walks so she (after much discussion) decided to rest them up for the glacier walk. It was a short walk today, about 45 mins and we managed to get up to the observatory where there was 360 degrees panoramic views, it was incredible so we decided to have lunch here today, after lunch we had a couple hour drive back to QT via Frankfort for some shopping and decided to have a night out! We booked into a hostel and after getting showered and sorted I cooked up a steak stir fry (yum yum) we ate dinner and had a few drinks and then joined in drinking games with other people at the hostel, we then all headed out to winnies for a couple and drinks and ended up staying there most of the night, we were there till kick out and then went to tardis for a night cap before stumbling back to the hostel and into bed!
