Woke up in Albert after an incredible night feeling like I had developed cotton mouth over night, winning the beer pong competition had also drastically resulted in a sneaky hangover biting me in the butt, I chugged about 2 litres of cool refreshing water and then demolished a bowl of Kellogg's finest, when I was feeling slightly human I ventured to the hostel and got straight into the shower, that helped a lot and then mingled with other hungover back packers, eventually Andy turned up and we reminisced about how good Koh Tao was before I fixed myself a quick lunch, hung out with Andy and Sarah as Katie had a snooze and then we decided to head to Picton around mid after, gave Andy a hearty hug farewell and said goodbye to the other guys before hopping in Albert and making the short journey to Picton, we arrived and parked up then had a wonder round, managed to get some wifi so caught up on my emails etc. there wasn't too much to do here so we went to the ferry terminal a bit early and played a heated round of Australia game to pass the time, once through we then cooked dinner and then before we knew it were on the ferry and on route to the north island! We found some mildly comfortable seats by the bar area and after a little bit of Pokemon dozed off, as did the girls, we were snoozing for a while and then the captain announced we were in Wellington, we headed down to Albert, off the boat and after a short drive (getting slightly lost) we ended up at the motor home park where we literally parked up and got into bed, the girls dozed off quite quick but due to me sleeping on the boat and Katies now famous snoring I couldn't sleep for ages! Managed to doze off about 2/3 I reckon, which sucked but was a nice relief from being awake so long!
