We headed out yesterday morning to find Bunji, Red and Tom. Red wasn't with them so we drove both Bunji and Tom to the water hole which then gladly drank from and then headed them over to do tasty grass. We left them there, will see if they stay around there or if they end up in the corner trying to get back home.
Alida rode Maddie, I was on Rollie and Heni was on Con. Alida seemed quite impressed by Maddie - I think she is the worst one to ride so it might be a good sign. Got back to the station and then packed up to head to the muster camp.
Netty drove her truck out, we went via Wyndham where she checked on her caravan, the road to Diggers was too rough to tow her older style caravan along, so she had left it at the camp ground. We stopped for a mango smoothie and some chips. I also called into an atm machine to get some cash out. Sign told me $100 limit, however I managed to get $200 out of it. I needed some cash to pay Brom to helo me make a stock whip. Then headed to the muster camp. It's located off of Gibb Valley Road, driving along we found 20 odd head of cattle but they look like they will be too far away from the yards.
Driving along, Netty spotted a crew with yards on the side of the road and decided that someone else was mustering as well, as I looked I spotted our crew. I was thinking how can two lots of people be trying to muster clean skins. However it was us. We stopped in and then headed to the camp. Instructions were across the King River up a hill and it will be on the left. Well the King River wasn't flowing which to me was a bit of a joke, clearly it is different in the wet. Then we headed up a hill, which would only just be classified as a rise.
Located the camp and drove on in to unpack. More food for the kitchen. Went to put up my tent to discover no poles were with the tent. So I repositioned the tent to under a tree, used a couple of stirrup leathers to hand it from a branch of the tree. Put in the swag and I think I'm set for the night.
There's a big bull in the paddock that you can hear bellow from time to time. However we never saw it. Had curried sausages with instant mash for dinner, followed by fruit crumble - Cheif cook was Brandy and she did a great job. Tucked up in bed by 7... I woke at 10:15 and could swear that I could hear the bull in the camp. Some of the horses stared running around which didn't settle my nerves either. I spent about 30min wired, imaging how my mosquito net would be no match for the bull considering I'd seen one take on a chopper earlier! After getting up for a bathroom stop it became an option of lying awake all night or going back to sleep. I choose the later and although a long night with many times of being awake I managed to get some sleep. Roll on tomorrow.

Robyn Love your recount of erecting your tent without any poles
