This place is so big... today's mission was to find three horses in a 20000+ acre paddock... we went out last night and couldn't find them and so 5 riders went out today. We left at 8am and got back at 12noon. After two hours riding we eventually found a mob of horses, and luck would have it two of the three horses were there. We swiftly caught one and vaccinated it, but had no joy at all in catching the other horse. We tried for over half an hour with no real success. We then gave up and headed back for the station house. I've managed to reagrivate my groin from a violent dart sideways on a horse last night, followed by two substantial trips on Pluto today. Whilst it doesn't effect day to day riding it does create pain when pushed sideways for any reason. Hopefully it will get a chance to heal, but with a cattle muster looming I can't see it yet.
