A lovely day morning at the Perth Zoo.

My main wish for the day had been to see the elephants and the orangutan. This happened very quickly. We were able to watch the bull elephant do some interaction activities with one of his keepers. The keepers do not enter the enclosure with the bull elephant. This is to keep them all safe.

The two female elephant spend their time together and the keepers do enter their enclosure.

The orangutan sit up in their metal towers at this zoo. We were lucky to see one of the orangutan come down out of its metal tower and use the ropes hanging between the towers. The Perth zoo have had a very successful breeding program.

We also enjoyed seeing the other animals. 3 1/2 hours passed very quickly.

We had to get the car to Windscreen O"Briens by 2.00 so our time was restricted.

While the car was in getting a new windscreen (We had a small crack from a stone and decided it needed to be reolaced before we went further north) we went to the cinema.

I watched Dispicable 3 while Carey had a little snooze then woke to watch the rest of the movie. First time both of us have ever had the cinema to ourselves.

We then collected the car and headed back to the motel for our ast night in Perth.
