After leaving Eucla bright and early the longest drive so far was a head of us.
We headed for mundrabilla to pick up fuel as carey said it use to be the cheapest place on the Eucla pass.
From Mundrabilla we caught up with the 2 mine trucks being transported to Western Australia that we had seen at border village the day before. The pilots were very quick to organise for the 2 wide loads to move over and allow us through.
Then we were off again stopping for a few minutes at each of the roadhouses on this stretch. Grabbing drinks and food at madura pass and cocklebiddy. It broke up the trip as nt much to see other than trees and road on this stretch.
We stopped at the Caiguna Blowhole. It is just meters off the road and if it wasn't marked you would think nothing of it. Just a hole in the ground that air from the caves underneath blow air out of. There is quite a few of these holes across the area because of the network of caves under the ground.
Then we were off across the longest straight piece of road in australia. 90 mile or 146.6km. Time went quickly.
Finally reached Balladonia where we played the skylab par3 hole of the nullarbor golf links. That was a laugh. Realised why I don't play golf other than putt putt. Then settled in for the night.
