Today we travelled around the end of the peninsula to Cape Range National Park to take a trip in a boat into Yardie creek gorge. Here we were able to see Black footed rock wallabies, an Osprey, a small sea turtle, rays and different types of fish. It was an enjoyable and informative hour. We then headed out of the park. This was a very interesting day the landscape changed so many times. We travelled through flood plains, food plantation areas, over bridges on dry rivers, low hill ranges, barren land and areas with many ant hills. I think the highlight of the day was Shothole Canyon.
