Lucky we weren't blown away today. No wonder we saw trees growing nearly parallel with the ground yeserday.
We began our day by visiting the satelite dish and museum. The dish had been used in the launching and tracking of the appollo, skylab etc. spaceships. It was a interesting experience. Included a free cup of tea or coffee.
We then headed down to the jetty. Sam and I decided to walk out the 1 km. Soon changed our mind by the time we got halfway out. Not sure if we would've been blown off or fell through the planks. The jetty was really showing its age. Carey stayed back and looked at the museum associated with the jetty. In its working days a train ran down the jetty over the mangroves to the sea.
We then went into twn and had lunch in the main sreet. Then a restful afternoon at the cabin.
