Everyone seemed to wake up early and by 730 am we were sitting outside enjoying our coffee - well, Nick was. I was still a stunned mullet from being woken up!! All the other campers departed and we had the park to ourselves once again. We spent the morning on schoolwork and the kids did really well. They had forgotten all of their times tables despite our repetitive drilling of them in the car on long trips so Nick found a website for them to use and within two days there has been a huge improvement. We had lunch and then went into Bowen to the laundry. I sat with the washing and read while Nick drove out to Rose Bay to have a look. Apparently the bay was stunning but too windy for today. Once the washing was finished we drove back to Horseshoe Bay and the kids had a swim but it was colder and windier then yesterday and we didn't last long. We bought dinner on the way home and spent an hour or two packing up the van when we got back. Another long driving day tomorrow as we head towards Hervey Bay.
