Both girls woke up at 230 am needing the toilet and then Annie woke up again at 330 am in tears due to a nightmare. She climbed into bed with us and we all slept on until 7. The kids could hear the other two kids playing outside and so went off to join them letting Nick and I come round slowly. They were moving on today and the kids were quite sad to say goodbye but we distracted them with a morning of schoolwork! We had an early lunch and sat in the sun for a while before heading back to Horseshoe Bay for the afternoon. Nick had got all the snorkeling gear down from the top of the car and the kids were keen to give it a try. Unfortunately by the time we got there the wind had picked up and was blowing straight up the beach. It didn't put the kids off though (only me) and Nick had to go in to supervise them!! Matty did really well but Jonny and his puny little body didn't cope too well with the cold and he soon came out blue-lipped and shivering!! He got changed into warm dry clothes and ten minutes later had forgotten how cold the water was, put his bathers back on and went back in!! This continued for the rest of the afternoon with all of them changing into and out of bathers about 5 times each!! We packed up around 4 pm, called in to buy dinner at the supermarket and headed home. By the time we got back we were still the only campers although the combi vans soon started to roll on in. We had a delicious dinner followed by hot showers and a movie for the kids. As soon as they were all in bed Nick and I settled down to more GoT - series 2 is even better!!
