On Thursday night, some of us decided to head up to the top of the Albaicin (a neighborhood in Granada that is on a hill/mountain) in order to watch the sunset over Granada. It was by far one of my most memorable and amazing nights so far this semester.
We met around 8 o'clock, grabbed some boxes of wine (and yes, I said boxes..we are classy girls) and hiked on up to one of the lookouts. We had a blast taking pictures, catching up with one another, and of course, drinking wine!
The sunset looked so beautiful going down over the mountains in the distance, and then the city began to slowly light up as darkness set in. We could barely pull our eyes away from the view. :) When we were so hungry we couldn't stand it anymore, we headed back downtown to go out for some tapas..and more wine! (Did I mention that we like wine?) We had a nice relaxing dinner at a tapas restaurant we had never been to before going home to pack for Lagos, Portugal-the trip that all of us were going on at 6am the next morning!
