Wednesday I did something that I had never done..I SKIPPED A WHOLE DAY OF CLASS TO GO TO THE BEACH! I definitely did not regret that decision. :)

Molly, Maegan, Hannah, and I decided we needed to use up some of our absenses in our classes, so we hopped on the bus and headed for the sea! We went to a beach town called Salobreña an hour away, and spent the entire day there until the bus came back to Granada at 6pm.

The beach was a rock beach, but they were small pebbles so we could still lay out and walk barefoot. I actually enjoyed this because then sand wasn't getting in and on everything! The beach was beautiful and clean too. The water was chilly but we got in anyway, and after we were numb we became used to it. :) Contrary to plenty of other Spanish women, we chose to keep our bathing suits on also. We didn't quite have the courage to go topless with all of the people and children around! haha.

It is definitely a place I want to go with Mary and Mom, and there is also a castle in the town that I want to explore next time I go!
