Between classes on Friday, some friends of mine and I went to the Albaicin to do some exploring again. We hiked all the way up to the top look out of Granada! It was a beautiful day (which of course meant that I got sunburnt even with my sunscreen on). On the wall of the lookout that we were on was the phrase "El mundo a nuestros pies" which means "The world is at our feet." We thought this was reallly cool since it did feel like we were standing on top of the world. :) We had a gorgeous view of Granada, the mountains, and the Alhambra. We sat up there for quite a while before moving down toi a different lookout where we ate our "bocadillas" (sandwiches and sacked lunch from our host moms) and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon.
