On Sunday, our program was nice enough to bus us to a beautiful beach town in southern Spain. The weather was perfect, the water was refreshing, and I didn't get sunburnt!

We hung out on the beach talking, sleeping, swimming, and playing volleyball together. A little German boy even joined in on our volleyball game-it was so cute! He couldn't understand us and we couldn't understand him, but we could still play the game. Moments like that make me really appreciate language-the fact that you can communicate without speaking, and also that is just a really cool situation to experience. A special part of studying abroad!

After the beach, we went to an Italian restaurant and had some darn good tasting pizza. Next stop was gelato (of course) and then we had to get on the bus to go back to Granada. It was a nice relaxing, fun day in the sand!
