Tuesday 6th October - Trees and Leaves. Gaudi designed the church to be held up by these enormous columns that are shaped all of the way up to resemble tree trunks. Above these are the branches and the leaves holding the roof up. The ceilings are magnificent and are difficult to describe to someone that has not seen the place.WOW again.

Tuesday 6th October - The Stained Glass. There are numerous stained glass windows from huge Rose windows right down to small circles and lots of the smaller windows have names on them as well as being coloured. Both sides of the main body of the church are coloured on one side from yellow through the spectrum to the shades of blue and on the other side from red through the spectrum to yellow.

Tuesday 6th October - Walk through the doors We had our earphones on and entered the east entrance and WOW. We were not expecting what we saw. The inside and the outside are so different. It is unbelievable and defies description. WOW.

Tuesday 6th October - Queuing for audio sets. Once we had shown our tickets on the tablet we then had to queue up for the audio headsets and they were only allowing 1 person for each party to join the queue for the headsets and even so the queue was very long and took half an hour for us to get ours. Tuesday 6th October - Waiting for our turn to go in. We approached the guard on the gate to get in as we had purchased tickets on line and showed him Jannies tablet and he said that we would have to come back as we had booked for 11.30am and it was only just after 10.30.
