Wednesday 7th October - The Born Area to Catalunya Metro Station.

We had skirted through part of this area a couple of days ago and wanted to have another looksee. The area is all pedestrian ways and full of all sorts of shops and cafes. I tried on a couple of pairs of shoes and hold me back they both fitted and I bought myself a pair of Spanish shoes. Now the backpack was heavy and we were out of the wind and it was getting hotter by the minute.
We were suddenly both complaining about sore feet, legs and hips so we headed directly for the Catalunya Metro and walked downstairs via a very circuitous route to get to the platform and the train back to Fontana. You would think that after walking and climbing stairs all these weeks our bodies would be super fit with all the exercise instead it seems like we are falling to bits.

It was very hot and we trudged up the street going to buy the book but like a lot of these European cities the shops in our street were now shut and wouldn't be opening until 4.00pm. It's ok though we will buy it on our way to dinner tonight.
