Wednesday 7th October - Off to the Beach and getting the Metro.

We walked up the road to go to Fontana Metro Station as we hadn't seen this part of our Gracia District. We stopped for coffee and the grumpy old guy who couldn't, or wouldn't speak English served us and went back inside. We finally got the coffees and it was not too bad and sweet tasting. It's a nice occupation just sitting on the sidewalk watching all of the people going about their daily business.
After coffee we walked up the street and along and all of the shops were open. We looked in a couple and thought that the girls would love these shops and so cheap too. I saw a book that I wanted but wasn't going to buy it and cart it around all day so a stop in on the way home was planned.
We got the Metro two stops and had the big walk down the tunnel at Diagonal but eventually got ourselves all the way down to Barcelonetta which is the closest station to the beach.
