Thursday 8th October - Park Guell by Metro.
All of the drips had stopped in the morning and we had breakfast and then we wandered up the road to have a coffee before getting the Metro for just one stop before we tackled the hill up to Park Guell.
There were even three sets of escalators to help us up the steepest bits and we stopped to catch our breaths at St Joseph's Church. This was built to acknowledge Joseph as everything else everywhere was in memory of Mary.
Onward and upward and we finally got to the gates of the park and had to queue up for tickets to the Doric Temple and the big open space where the curved tiled bench is surrounding the whole area.
Only problem was we were not able to go into this area until 1.00pm as they only allow 400 people in every half hour. We decided to give it a miss as we didn't think that we would be there in three hours time.
