Sunday 6th September - Day at sea Happy Father's Day We got up a bit later this morning as we were going to be at sea the whole day. Last night there were winds of 35 knots and a sea of 2 metres. Saturday 5th September - Beer and then lunch The few drops of rain made the temperature rise somewhat and the humidity was bad so we stopped for a beer at Jannie's suggestion and we sat at a lovely cafe and had a local beer, "Nitsicki" for 1 Medium and 1 Large €4.90. Saturday 5th September - Shopping Kotor is full of shops and little restaurants for a coffee, beer and lunch mostly eaten at tables outside in the street or courtyard. We saw lovely "Faberge" eggs that are copies and not the real thing and some are made from duck or goose eggs. They were very intricate and so lovely and locally made. Saturday 5th September - Kotor We went and had breakfast and then prepared to go ashore. Problem 1 was that Jane's card wouldn't work in her door and that's the third time. Problem 2 is that our safe wouldn't open and we had to get the purser to come and open it so that we could get my wallet out. We made our way down to the 1st deck to get a launch ashore. Saturday 5th September - Early Rise We got up this morning at 6.00am to watch the ship come into Kotor Harbour. Kotor is in Montenegro and is at the end of a type of fjord although it's not a fjord as they are carved out by glacial movement and the Bay of Kotor is the result of an old river running from the interior to the Adriatic Sea.
