Monday 5th October - Info Centre Department Store and Lunch
We finally found the underground information centre and got at the end of a long queue. Just behind us was an Aussie woman who was travelling on her own and we had a great chat with her for the 35 minutes that it took for us to get to the head of the line.
We got our tickets and asked about the loos and were directed to the department store across the road and sure enough down in the basement were the loos and at no charge either.
We went up two floors to the Menswear section and soon had had enough as it was all branded merchandise that us poor pensioners can afford.
We got out of there and headed towards the Cathedral and lunch as Jannie had to rest her feet. We got a lunch at Taverna del Bisbe and had 3 tapas and 2 beers. The beers arrived in porcelain mugs, quite bizarre, and the three tapas were olives, calamari and greek salad. It was all very nice and cost us €24.
