We intended to leave today but it was very windy and we felt like a rest day after all our hard work ;), so we booked in to stay in Exmouth another night. We really like the feel of Exmouth and the Big4 park is very pleasant to stay in!
This evening we decided to drive up to the Turtle Observatory, which is a beach where three different species of sea turtles come up on the beach to lay their eggs between October and January. We stayed on the beach for an hour in the moonlit darkness but unfortunately no turtles. Lochie was getting restless so we decided to leave, but I think you would need to put in an all nighter to see turtles come in to shore which we weren't prepared for. It was really nice sitting on the beach at night though. We headed back to the caravan and prepared to leave the next morning.
