On our way to Busselton we stopped off at Bunbury for morning tea at the Dolphin Sanctuary hoping to see the Dolphins come in to the beach as we had missed out on seeing them at Monkey Mia. Once again we came on the Dolphin's day off! The Sanctuary has several interesting aquariums as well as a marine touch pool. The Port Jackson Sharks are awesome, they seem to have so much character and while they were being fed it looked like they had a snuggle in the feeders ...

How quickly things can change! Overnight we had a very big storm, with heavy rain, high winds that rocked our caravan and the lightening and thunder was amazing! When we woke up in the morning it was still raining and our caravan was sitting in a 30cm deep lake lapping the door step! We decided to talk to the manager about moving and he told me that he had not seen the park flood like this in the nine years he has been there. We packed up in the rain as quickly...

We arrived in Mandurah early this afternoon and found a nice caravan park right on the water. I think this is the first grassy campsite since Fitzroy Crossing! It's a nice well treed park great for Lochie to play safely. We plan to stay here for a couple of nights before travelling to Bussleton on Thursday.

We left York in the rain this morning but it soon fined up near Perth. Unfortunately we hit some peak hour traffic but not too bad. We arrived at Fremantle in time for morning coffee and found what we thought was a nice quiet cafe right at the Marina with huge aquariums with a variety of fish, lobsters, star fish and coral. We have really enjoyed our stay in York. We had four new tyres fitted to the Zuki and I have serviced it ready for the second half of our journey. The Krieg's have been awesome letting us stay here, it's been great! Tomorrow morning we leave for Fremantle and Mandurah.
