We left early again not knowing what was ahead of us. We stopped at Norsman again for fuel and then made our way to Fraser Range Sheep Station about 100km further down the road towards the Nullabor. The station only runs about 200 sheep now because of wild dogs. They also have one of the holes which is part of the Nullabor golf course. The photo that comes with this blog is of a 1927 Chrysler that was purchased by the roo shooter and "dogger" on the property. Apparently a car yard in Perth advertised they would "trade anything" for a car so the Fraser Range residents arrived in the big smoke with Charlie the camel in tow. Having to honour their ad, the car yard got the camel and Fraser Range were now the owners of a brand new car, the car yard changed their ad immediately after this. It was a lovely place to spend the night and we met some really nice people there. One nice couple we met were Col & June from Coober Pedy they were making their way south and then up to Perth and then on to Darwin, it was great to talk to them, we gave them some info on where we had been and they gave us some info on that was ahead of us. They own one of the old houses that was built underground many years ago, they told us where to find it, we are really looking forward to seeing it.
