On the drive from Kalbarri to Geraldton we called in at a place called Port Gregory, it had a pink lake which was very unusual to see. The caravan park we stayed in at Geraldton was near the beach up the industrial part of town. The first night was very noisy frieght train went right behind the caravan park, our site was all the way up the back corner of the park, we were wondering what we were in for but thankfully it didn't happen every night. Our original plan was to stay in Geraldton for awhile and look for some work but we decided to keep heading south down the coast towards Perth, Jim spoke to his sister Tania and she invited us to spend Christmas with them if we were nearby, we were looking forward to seeing some family.
