A very cold start at 7.30am. The proverbial goat track up to O Cebreiro lived up to its reputation. A long haul up largely rough terrain. A very casual walk along the banks of the river for most of the way. As I was leaving the outskirts of Villafranca I was joined by a lady pushing a trolley full of large bottles of water.
