Camino 3
An early start, in the dark, for a fairly challenging trek. We have well and truly left the Meseta behind. A 7km hike took me to the Crux de Ferro. I placed my pebble from home at the base of the cross and even for me it was quite emotional. I said a few words to whoever may may be listening, if anyone, and moved on. Finally arrived at Molinesaca which is a beautiful little town on the river. My hotel is right on the river bank and my "salon" has a view of the bridge right outside. I am being very well, catered for! Lunch of artichokes, followed by hake in green sauce and then rice pudding ( rapidly becoming my favourite), plus a bottle of red. The waiter who obviously felt sorry for me also gave me a shot of some indescribable liqueur which he obtained from the ice cream freezer, free of charge. Who am I to argue?

Pat Newlove They must make the best rice pudding in the world in Spain! Don't wonder about the man upstairs - he knows you. Just accept the feelings and be grateful. I am so envious of this trip. As said previously, it is just my idea of heaven. Speaking of heaven, Chelsea have just lost 1-3 at home to Southampton, although I also have to say City have won 6-1 at home!
