Leon is a big city so it took quite a while to reach the outskirts. Plus it was Monday morning rush hour I was on my best behaviour with my bike. About 7 degrees as I left but within a short time the sun heated the place up. A relatively uninteresting ride then to Astorga. Another beautiful old town where my hotel is again well situated in the town square with my balcony giving me views of the square. My bag didn't arrive until late in the afternoon so a 3 course lunch including a bottle of wine for $19 was much appreciated. Had a walk around and took some pictures before getting back as my bag arrived so a soak in the bath was in order. I was going to send back home my bike helmet and nicks as I won't be needing them anymore but they close at 2.30 for the day so looks like they are coming with me.
