Easy walk to Rabanal. The last 2 km were a bit of a camel track but ok as long as I wasn't on my bike! The final km in to Rabanal had crosses of all descriptions in all colours fixed to a fence. I was thinking of making one using duct tape but I may find better use for duct tape yet! Arrived before lunch. Left Astorga before sun up and therefore arrived before it got too hot. Also allowed me time for lunch. House salad, salmon, rice pudding and bottle of wine: all for $18.00. I'm not coming home.! It's either Bolivia or here, kids! Beautiful walk after dinner. No wind, absolutely beautiful evening. Red sky at night, shepherds delight.
