We spent the day mostly sorting, clearing and packing our stuff up in preparation for our departure in a few days time. Fiona was out for lunch and Richard was back at work after the Bank Holiday so Barnaby was left at home all by himself as Calvin and Kate strolled into Heswall (stopping by The Jug and Bottle). We had a bit of a sleep in and then all 5 of us - Fiona, Richard, Calvin, Tim and Kate - went off to Winslow (Tim's new home). The journey took about 45 minutes and as soon as we got into the Wilmslow area, we could tell this was quite a posh area! It was new territory to explore for the Australians today. We headed east to York, about  2 hour drive from Heswall. Richard's car seats 5 people and of course a dog. Barnaby was a little bit confused about this car ride as he usually gets a seat (preferably the front but, at the very least, a spot in the back) but today he was mostly on the floor. Today was a big day for English cricket and the Young family! The Cheshire County League teams - Barrow and Lindow (Tim's team) were playing in Great Barrow. We packed a big picnic to last the whole 6 hours! We got the picnic out as soon as we got there! Calvin went for a run this morning for the first time in ages. It was more of a walk and run along the Wirral Way to Gayton and back. Fiona, Barnaby, Kate and Calvin headed over to Frodsham in the morning to put some flowers on the family graves at St Laurence Church cemetery.
