We had a bit of a sleep in and then all 5 of us - Fiona, Richard, Calvin, Tim and Kate - went off to Winslow (Tim's new home). The journey took about 45 minutes and as soon as we got into the Wilmslow area, we could tell this was quite a posh area! We saw where Tim is living and got introduced to his host family and their new puppy. We then drove the short distance to the pub - the Plough and Flail. It had a lovely English pub feel to it and the food was yummy! We then drove Tim to his cricket ground as he was working behind the bar that afternoon. Fiona, Richard, Kate and Calvin then drove into the centre of Wilmslow and wandered through the streets, stopping at a few shops (including the Aston Martin dealer) and then of course a compulsory coffee shop stop. After stopping off at the Waitrose, we walked back to the car. We drove through the posh area of Alderley Edge with lots of mansions before heading back home. We had a delicious stir fry for dinner (with Calvin's delicious ginger shallot sauce) and then fruit and yoghurt for pudding.
