It was a decision between going to Venice or going to Sirmione today. This morning we drove the 2 hours from Lecco to Verona - a nice short easy drive. Our Airbnb was about 3km out of the centre of Verona. As check in wasn't until 2:00 and we arrived at the apartment at about 12, we went for lunch at a great restaurant nearby - Osteria T Gella. Today we headed into Como to explore the south west arm of the lake. Our drive today took us from Lucerne down through the Swiss Italian border into the Como and out east to Lecco.  The 3 hour drive was most expertly driven by Kate who followed the navigation without any wrong turns at all and getting us to our Lecco Airbnb at exactly 12:30 pm on the dot.
