We had a bit of a sleep in this morning to compensate for our late night! Then we watched the Viennese Philharmonic Orchestra New Year's Day concert on TV - we felt very European doing this! It was pretty amazing!  We then drove into Wales and went to Moel Farnau and climbed up some of the big hill. The views were pretty incredible and the crisp air was a nice fresh way to start the new year. There was a child crying because she was sick of walking - Kate had so much sympathy because she thought that would have been her when she was a child. She has grown up a bit now though! We then drove to Loggerheads and went for a nice stroll along the river. We tried to get a hot drink afterwards but the cafe was closed. On our way home we stopped at Theatre Clwyd where we again tried to get a hot drink but the cafe there was closed. We wandered through the photo gallery and Richard decided to pose with a mannequin! We came home and had vegetable moussaka (by Marks and Spencer's), watched The Grand Tour (the new Top Gear) Namibia Christmas special and then played some games of Bananagrams.
