The weather was beautiful today - mostly clear and not too cold. Rod, who was the Duty Instructor on site for the day, came and knocked on our door this morning to let us know he was driving out a group to Castlewellan Forest Park and offered us a lift. There were about 3 groups of 20 people staying on site this weekend and one group was heading off to do canoeing at Castlewellan Lake.  Kate, Eva, Stef and Calvin jumped in the Greenhill bus and got a lift out to Castlewellan - the same place where we used to do canoeing 1...

We woke up this morning to a beautiful view of Newcastle. The cabin we are in has an amazing view over the town. After breakfast, we all went up to the main building and spoke to Mark (the main trainer) to see what activities we could do. Kate decided to leave the outdoor activities for the ex-Greenhill volunteers and head to Belfast while Calvin, Steff and Eva decided to tackle the new activity tower.
