Our last day in Dubai consisted of:  - going up to the hotel rooftop pool so Kate could dry her swimmers in the sunshine; - going to Dubai Mall (again) - Calvin got a hair cut - it was looking a bit flat on top and his wife has been pointing out some greys; - saw the Dubai Dinosaur in The Souk in Dubai Mall; - eating Chinese and Thai food (again) at the foodcourt; - and eating more ice-cream! Our last full day in Dubai was a fun one! We embraced the ostentatiousness and opulence of this city - part of what has now become the culture of Dubai. Our first stop was Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark - the best waterpark in Dubai. This park is located in the Atlantis Resort on the famous Palm Jumeirah (on the very topmost frond). Today was a bit of a late start as we had to do some clothes washing in the bathtub. Using a bath seems so easy compared to using buckets in Kenya! Today eventuated into Dubai shopping day! Weather is mild but sunny - certainly not sweaty like Mombasa!  First thing this morning we went to the supermarket over the road to get some breakfast supplies – cereal, milk and plastic bowls.  We caught the metro to Dubai Mall.
