So we've finally made it! 4 years of work with the promise of paid liberty for a year. The last few months have been a bit of blur - finishing up work, packing the house, cleaning the house (multiple times), selling Kate's car, moving belongings to Perth (thanks mum and dad) and packing our bags (potentially overpacked!). We're now sitting at the Perth International Airport Gate 53 waiting to board after Kate, feeling peckish as always, voted to have a quick quiche. Over quiche, the important conversation of hashtags came up. Officially now #soongsvsworld. Kate (the organized one) is now telling me we have to board. Will keep you posted.
