Checked out the wharf area this morning and the cemetery. Saw there was an ME Wicks died in 1897.
Rose bought a snorkel and goggles, then we fueled up and headed out to the Blow hole, it was a very calm day with just a bit of a swell, you could still really feel the power of the sea.
Then went on to the 3 mile camp at Gnaraloo Station. The road was very corrugated. Stopped and saw the salt filling jetty in the middle of no where. There are big cliffs right along this coastline. Quite a number of people fishing at various places along the cliffs.
Came across a helicopter sitting on it's own alongside the road on Quobba Station, stopped and took some photos. We could hear voices and sheep being worked from just over the hill so the owner wasn't too far away.
Saw lots of what appeared to be wild goats as we crossed Quobba.
We are camped at a fantastic place although very expensive at $20 pppn plus $2.50 for the dog, so $85 for two nights, no power or water but showers and toilets, but magnificent real-estate in the middle of no where.
